I like to see how things are made or works in progress, plus the latest crafty creations. Plus I like pics of nice or arty things found in the everyday - if that makes sense!

Hi Jessica,

I have a lot on my family history mainly to give people a look at where my creativity came from and so people can learn more about me. I take photos so I have images of my mum's and grandfather's camera's and talk about their interests in photography. I also create artwork so I have my great aunt suzie who was a portrait painter and my mum's who's an oil painter. I blog about them as well as showing some of my artwork from High School. I also blog about what inspires me and artists I like. I haven't gotten into the giveaways yet but it sounds like it's a winner.

Lots of photos and short paragraphs. even if its a long article short paragraphs with a topic sentence per paragraph so I can choose to skip paragraphs. I only spend max 2 hrs online a day and usually have crap loads of work to do so if I am going to read it needs to be somewhat snappy.

I have a totally dull blog so i am a terrible example! I have posted 5 things but have tried to do short posts, always with a photo or quote, I just love quotes!

BTW I just read some of your blog and really liked it, loved the bird story and lots of photos, nice layout!

I'm such a visual person, I can very quickly decide whether I like a blog or not by how it looks...and that includes backgrounds - some are a complete turnoff, even if the content might be worthy.

I love good pics, interesting posts, works in progress... not too many pics though, and I don't like heaps of widgets & ads - gets a bit confusing for my eyes!

I look at the photos first. Then read for the comments. If it looks interesting, then that's the time I read the content.
