I have had 4 wonderful customers purchase from my store within the last fortnight. I always email a thank you to them and follow up with an email when their parcel has been posted and to give them an estimate of when they will receive their goods. Since I have posted these items, not one of them has shown up yet and I'm beginning to panic! One is now 4-5 days late, the others are 2-3 days late. I'm taking into consideration that being Christmas, things are kinda busy, but I just wanted to know if any of you were experiencing the same kind of dilemma I am?

Is it possible that the items also got caught up in the postal strike this week? I've sent a few packages for personal presents and they have taken a lot longer than usual because of Christmas and the strike. One hasn't arrived yet that I was hopig would have by now.

Yeah, I know the strike has effected things also. I got an email this afternoon that one of my customers received her earrings yesterday, but I'm still waiting on the other 3. It's doing my head in! lol! I just stress when I do my best to make a customer happy and the postal system lets me down on delivery of their anxiously awaited goods! Gah! I know it's out of my hands though... *waits patiently a little bit longer*

Yeah, I've even had Platinum Express Post parcels take 2 days to get to their destination.
And they 100% guarantee 1 day delivery for them or your money back............oh, except if they are on strike!

Tis the Season .... to wait. I think most buyers are aware of the heavier load near Christmas. I hope all your parcels arrive safely

I hear your anxiety Greenstar.
It is certainly a stress this close to Christmas. And no matter the time of the year, it IS hard to hand things over to the unreliability of the post, isn't it!
Hoping with you, that all your parcels arrive before Christmas.

Well, I only have 1 customer left now who's parcel has not arrived. It's OFFICIALLY very late. I am a bit worried about this parcel and fear it's been lost. Fingers crossed it shows up this week.

I've now got one that's very late too. To add to the drama - it's a christmas outfit, so if it doesn't get there in time, I will probably have to refund :(

It's very frustrating isn't it! And everything I've sent to the US lately is taking way longer too... argh.

I sent off an order last Monday and it arrived on Monday just gone - it usually takes 2 business days from here and it took a week!
I'm sending speedy delivery vibes to all of you :)

My last customer is still waiting on hers, OR SO I BELIEVE. I have not heard anything from her at all, so for all I know, she has it and hasn't let me know! I've sent her a final email today to see if she has it, so hopefully she replies to that to tell me whether or not she has it. My parcels to the US actually arrived there quicker than some of my Aussie parcels too.
Hope you all have a great Christmas!
