First Sale YAY!!!

I stocked my store up a little while ago, posted stuff on my facebook page, twitter, myspace, put the MadeIt button on my blog and checked my emails every day (usually lots more than once). I was getting lots of lookers, but no sales after a few weeks and was starting to get a little disheartened.... then we went away for two days. Two days with no technology so I couldn't check up on things, we got back last night and voila. When I checked my emails there was THAT message I'd been waiting for. YAY!!!!! So glad now I didn't give up (I was tempted there for a moment).

I was so excited when I sold my first item that I rang everyone that would be excited with me and for me. It only made me more determined to make this venture work. I still get excited over every sale (have not sold that much!). I am flattered that someone would take the time to look and then purchase, and positive feedback would have to be the best kind of flattery. Makes all the effort and time that you put into making that item all worth it. Someone has something unique that I made......and no-one can take that away from you!

Thanks everyone. I have since sold three more items which I am off to post this morning.I think that I've managed to drive everyone mad raving about how stoked I am that I've made sales on MadeIt. :D I can see my BHG (the big hairy guy - because he has long hair and a beard) rolling his eyes here in the background....LOL

I've had several sales now and it still has the same buzz, I thought it might get less "buzzy" the more you sold, but am glad to say it doesn't. I'm still stoked everytime i'm logged in and woo hoo, I've sold something :)
