Hi everyone,

I am a handmade soap and bodycare manufacturer up in North Queensland, just joined the Made it forum, made a shop and also put up a couple of items for sale. When I get a chance I will add more listings.

This looks like a fantastic place and I will help spread the word about this forum etc amongst the Artisans up my way. I don't think any of them know about it.

How did I find out about this place? Through Anna posting on the Yahoo Etsy Dust list. Thankyou Anna :)

I was just wondering if madeit.com has a flier that we can print off in either color or black and white. That way I could go around to the stall holders that make stuff where I am. I only just told one fulltime jewellery maker about etsy on Sat, she had never heard of it before. Have to tell her about here as well next week. She is into wedding and designer stuff, a lot of one off pieces.

We have some that still make stuff a lot of them don't make anymore because the markets let the imported stuff in and so much work goes into handmade only those with passion stay.

I would be willing to lend a hand to Madeit to create a flier to use as you suggested platypusdreams! It would be great to have a PDF documtent that we could print out and promote Madeit via our own business/markets etc, it would give the site a huge boost of not only sellers, but traffic to the site.....
