Hi Madeit,

I dunno if there is a possible fix, but I find it very frustrating navigating around the STORES section of the site. I was wondering if it would be possible to have an alphabet listing at the bottom of the pages instead of a page number listing.

There are a couple of stores I like to check out, and I cant always remember how they spell the names. I know what letter they begin with obviously, and it would make searching a lot easier if I could just click on "F" for example, instead of trying to guess what page number the "F"s might start on!

Is this only me? Or do others find this frustrating and off putting too?

I think letters would be a good idea. I also don't always know the exact spelling but do know the letter. I had that problem last night actually but eventually found the store.

I have thought and have been frustrated by the very same thing. I put my store name in my listings so my friends can just type that in because I know if they type C Percy Designs in the search for store field they won't find me becasue they haven't typed 'cpercydesigns'.

Great idea Natalie.

I know a few times when I have been looking the same thing has happened, I kinda know the name but not the exact spelling.

It would definitely help narrow the searching process down.

Well I guess its not just me then. Hopefully if enough people want the change Bec will be able to talk to the developers about it. Fingers crossed.

We have a number of changes in the pipeline in regards to our stores page (http://www.madeit.com.au/stores.asp), we are taking into account the issues above and will come up with a solution. We will also be adding more options for indexing stores on this page.

Just to clarify...
When someone searches the stores page (http://www.madeit.com.au/stores.asp) they are searching both your username and store name.

For example if someone searches cpercydesigns (username) or C Percy Designs (store name) the will find C Percy Designs.

Thanks
Bec
