Hi guys

Thought I'd share a necklace which I customized for my sister's formal. Did it on the weekend, was quite pleased with the end result :D

I made a little polymer clay monster named Walter. He can be found in the "Other Items' category. I thought I had better hurry up and put him on here as I am starting to become too attached to him :o)

I made 5 pillow cases, 6 wristlet dolls, 1 prototype "I'm all ears" beanie, which turned out super cute and will be putting up on my madeit site very soon. The prototype went to Miss 5 who gets first dibs on everything. Sorry feeling a bit low-tech and can't work out how to upload pic.

I keep looking for decent cotton t-towels with nothing on them, they are hard to come by. Mum suggested just sewing them myself, maybe that is the way to go! Great print by the way.

I have been looking as well, I just found really large tea towels and the quality of the material didn't look great.

The first tea towel took me a while (not a frequent sewing) then I worked out how I could cut the sewing in half by folding the fabric edge twice and then sewing. This way it looks professional and no hems are exposed. Just a little more time spent at the iron but well worth it.

Awesome Owls, I love owls.

I am needle felting a cat, I am doing the head, modelling the shape off the cat that was sitting on the couch beside me. But its actually going to be too big for the purpose, I will just make an independent cat, and make another cat to go with my owl.

Apart from that I had a fairly lazy day.

I finished a cpl things yesterday, including a needlefelted beehive. And put together some really simple earrings, which I really like.

Kara if you are expecting your first baby, get used to moving furniture around..... it come's with the pregnancy. I myself haven't stopped shifting furniture since by first born! Something about nesting I think?
