Hi There Crafters.

Many of our users have reported experiencing the site slowing down and responding poorly. We have experienced it ourselves so we feel your pain.

We just want to let you know that we finally have an end in sight for this problem.

A brand new server has been purchased and it is currently being set up to host madeit and its database.
It is going to take a few more days to get it set up withe the operating system and relevant server software and then to move the site onto it. We estimate probably mid next week for completion of the move assuming all goes well.

we just wanted to apologise again and thank you all for bearing with us and to assure you that we honestly are working our hardest to get it sorted out.

if you have any questions please email us at support@madeit.com.au

thanks
Jayc

It'll probably increase the sales as well!

Yep, thanks for the update.

Hoping sales will increase also, I am a bit concerned about people that got frustrated & stopped looking.

The new server is ready and if everything goes to plan we should be able to move madeit onto it tonight.

if you happen to be browsing madeit tonight (after about 2 am) you may find the site is down temporarily.

we are doing it as late as possible to avoid down time for the site.

thanks again for hanging in there.

Thanks for the update, I was blaming our old laptop and getting very angry with it! Makes sense now

Much better!!! Just listed 4 items in 10 mins instead of 1 hour. Much less frustration. Thank you for fixing this.
