I am hoping someone can help me here. I used to work in Family Day Care and always had to use my small amount of resources in clever and crafty ways. I found that small children would aways be breaking crayons so I 'made' my very own chunky ones. Ta Da!! Longer lasting crayons. (Im hoping some of you out there know what I am talking about and know how to make very chunky crayons. I dont want to give away all my secrets ;) ). My question is would my 'homemade crayons' be something that I could sell on this site. Or arent they 'madeit' enough??

Hey there Kimberley!
If you mean you are gathering pieces of old, broken crayons & melting them down & pouring them into different, fun moulds & then packaging them up - I think that constitutes as handmade.
Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!

Thanks Narelle. I thought they were homemade enough. So now I have to figure out what category to put them in....

I just did a search and crayon roll sellers seem to put them either under art/other or Baby & Children > Art > Other. I would tread to think your crayon would fit into the second category.
Handmade is a tricky subject - just see other posts. I would be putting your recycled crayons in the handmade from recycled materials category. Its a bit like using vintage fabric or me using wool to make my beanies.
Good luck with this - I did a search and no one seems to be doing this on madeit. So you'd be the first :)
Suggestion: Do a search on Etsy under 'with recycle crayons'.
