How does paypal work in this situation...

I only offer paypal as a payment method....and send items using standard aussie post service....all my shipping is set to free at the moment...

If someone emails me and wants me to send using registered post, how can I change it?
Would I need to send them a separate invoice using paypal (and get them not to buy it using the madeit site?) with whatever the extra amount for registering would be??

Bit confused as I've never done this before so not sure how it would work.

if they havent yet paid for the item on madeit yet, you can 'edit' the invoice, and email it to them so when they checkout the amount you have edited will automatically go through to paypal. if they have paid, i would just send them a separate paypal invoice for the cost of registered post.

Ahhh I see!

So they can add the item to their cart....but then they wait for me to edit the invoice with the extra amount before confirming their purchase.
