Hey, I thought I better get to organising our next Melbourne Meet Up. It did start in the Etsy forums, but I think it would be good to make it a crafty meet and so anyone can feel welcome, not just Etsy sellers.

We have not decided on a time or venue yet and Meet Me At Mikes is also organising a Museum Meet at 2pm, so I am thinking either before or after that. Please tell your friends about it if they are in Melbourne!

Okay all the details are:

Date: Sunday 3rd May 2008
Time: 3pm
Where: Fed Sqaure cafe between ACMI / Ian Potter near the bookshop at Ian Potter in that underground bit.

What to bring: Just yourselves, if you have any questions for other sellers, particularly if you're new, please bring them along as well. Also it is great to see items you make and handy to bring business cards to swap.

You beat me to it Anna! Haha... looking forward to seeing all of you crafty Melbourne Madeit sellers there!

The last one was heaps of fun, so definitely come along if you can! And don't be shy like me and leave your crafty items at home (I'm bringing my creations with me this time!)

It was quite a nice day actually... apart from me spilling my drink on myself!

At the next meet I'm going to try and make more of an effort to go around and talk to EVERYONE... the table setup was a bit awkward!

yes, it was really lovely.
I'm so glad I came. It was my first meetup and I was really nervous beforehand (and still a little shy...) but I'm so happy to have met all the crafty melbourne peeps.
With that many people at the table, I didn't get a chance to talk to everyone either! Hopefully next time :)

Thanks to everyong that came, it was a great turn out. I wasn't sure how many people would come and it was great to see so many. I always have a lot of fun at them because you can "talk shop" and people know what you're talking about plus I always come away learning so much stuff.
