numbers through the website

Hi,

I was just wondering if there are any numbers available to look at. By which I mean the following kind:
**number of members
**number of people per hour/day/week/month that visit this website and our shops
**Highest number of items sold for a single shop
**Most popular category

and maybe other things like that. I think that this is not only interesting data, but gives us an idea on where and what to market to our clients.

Using google analytics we can all follow the data for our individual stores. There is a whole range of useful data available. (Traffic sources, page visits, top content, new vs returning visits, location, etc).

You sign up using analytics. You could google how, I'm sure there would be various tutorials explaining how (or use their help files). Once you have the code you paste it under Account, Storefront.

Hi i've signed up and got the code for google but where do i post the code - on each page or is there just one bit i should put it on. not very computer savvy as you can tell!!

Hi. You only ever need enter it once, and Madeit does the rest behind the scenes.
- Sign in
- Click on 'My Account' (from the menu bar near the top of the screen)
- Select 'Store Front' (from the menu bar on the left hand side of screen)
- At the very bottom of the page you paste the code into 'Google Analytics' section
- hit 'next', until you get to the option to save.

You may need to wait 24 to 48 hours to see any data in the Google Analytics report. When you do, you'll discover which products are viewed the most. How many new vs returning customers you have. What sites refer to your store etc etc etc... I check in with my Google Analytics report about once a week.

If we could have a similar thing for the madeit.com.au website .. this would be great.. not sure where it would be placed.. but great info for all the sellers knowing how many people are selling on website without havign to spend time counting pages and numbers of items ourselves.

It would be great to have a "just sold" similar to the new items tab. I know you can see sold items under each section but it would great to see what people are buying and when.
