Hello and Howdy guys, well whilst my internet is running smoothly I thought it was about time I started a new swap! So here it is the official FLAT PACK SWAP!:

FAQ’s about flat pack swaps….

Q. What the fudge is a flat pack swap?

A. Basically everybody starts with an envelope approximately either A4 or A5 size. Then gather interesting materials, fabrics, papers, pictures, photo’s, poems, book pages, felt etc to stuff into it. i.e. anything flat!

Q. Why would I want to be part of a flat pack swap?

A. It is a great way to source new inspiration for all you craft projects, such as appliqué, collage, drawing, even just visual inspiration, ideas that you may have not thought of before. It gives you a ‘different perspective’ to play ideas off.

Q. What happens next?

A. Basically, if you are interested in participating in this swap, simply add your name to the post, after a week or so I will collate all the names and put them ‘into a hat’. I will draw out two names to partner off and then partners share a private email between them, and swap mailing addresses. Once, we’re done, maybe you guys could show me how to set up a flickr group so we can display our packages for all to see!

I must apologise, I organised the swap, but still haven't sent my parcel to my partner yet! Sorry Ali J, your's will be in the mail next week! I think with the Tshirt comp etc, I have over committed somewhat and seem to be dragging the chain!

I thought you'd like the felt Simmone. My boyfriend sells upscale, crazy priced furniture and its from the upholstery swatches from a discontinued colour range. Ever heard of the Egg chair?? Anyway - its from their manufacturer. I've got a bunch of colours - its great for making things with as it doesn't fray. Glad you liked the rest of the bundle too
