No feedback?

Hi - Im just wondering how common it is not to get any feedback from your buyers?

I've only sold a handful of things and I know that I'm pretty new to everything, but I thought more people would leave feedback. I guess I always do and I get surprised when people dont.

Anyway, just thought Id ask and see if it's pretty normal not to hear back.

Hi Melis,

So far since I have been selling on made it I have only had about half my customers leave feedback. It sucks but I know a lot of my customers are first time buyers on made it and may not even know that they are supposed to leave feedback.

I send all my customers a gift tag with there lamp saying thankyou and so on, and have started to write, "Look forward to reading your feedback" on them. Since then I have had a few more customers leaving feedback so maybe you could try something like this, or e mail them asking if they got your item ok and politely mention that you have left them feedback and ask could they do the same.

I think some people just don't realise the importancy of feedback to us sellers which sucks but I guess when you do start getting lovely feedback it will make it all the more special. Hope this helps, Kristen

I also get about half of customers leaving feedback.
Once I have shipped an order I always send an email to let them know it has been posted and also at the end of the email I write something along the lines of "Would love to receive positive feedback from you once you have received and are happy with your purchase".

I have had feedback from 3/4 of my customers. I always send an email after I have posted the item (I usually wait until I know it has arrived). I put in the email thanks for buying from Creative Wishes and state I have left them feedback and ask if they could also leave me feedback. Mostly this works.

Sending an email is a good idea, I don't seem to ever get feedback - I'd be worried if my non-madeit buyers weren't saying such nice things but it doesn't look great. I'll give the email a go! Thank you :)
