Just a useless thread to waste time.... Is it telling what type of person you are by what you would order at a coffee shop, yup I think so!

My order (if I was having some girly time without my daughters) would be a super dooper large Vanilla Latte!

What would your's be?

Virtual cheers to you all, have a happy day.

Hot chocolate with a shot of hazelnut and cream on top. An unhealthy indulgent that warms me right up. :)

A hot choco or an iced chocolate...depends on weather.

And prob something lke a brownie, or a slice, not a cake, cake is not my friend.

Skinny flat white (note the 'skinny') with either canoli, hummingbird cake or baked lemon tart... yum!

Though its cold here in the Mountains today so a good hot chocolate is always welcome.

Tea.

I don't drink coffee and think it is pretty yuck. I have drunk it before but it does something to me which isn't that great so I just stopped altogether. Although the best coffee I ever had was at the Marriot Hotel on the top floor overlooking Warsaw. The view and the coffee was great. It was so well made that I didn't need to add suger to it, it tasted perfect. Maybe that is my issue with coffee, nobody knows how to make it without it tasting like burnt black sludge!

Skinny hot chocolate. And it has to actually be chocolate-y, not just the tasteless brown milk too many places serve up these days! Best one ever was in Dunedin NZ.

Annalaura...I really dont like coffee either and my partner gets the craps from it. Before our coffee shop was leased at work I used to make the coffees as I could stand the smell, whereas the manager couldnt stand it (she also isnt a coffee drinker). I got so many compliments about how good my coffee was and then I was told that I was making them wrong!!!

I do occassionally have one and the best I had was when we got room service for dinner one night in Tokyo, my nana kep asking me if I wanted some so I had some and was so amazingly impressed.

Small flat white and possibly a sour cherry and cream cheese danish from my favourite cafe here in Launnie.

every so often i get the craving for a big creamy iced chocolate. it seems a lot of us here prefere the chocolate stuff instead of the coffee. what do you think that means?

i go funny on coffee too, i even find a strong cup of black tea is too much for me!

oh, and give me a friand, I'd never had one until I came to australia!

soy decaf late one sugar extra hot!

and you wonder why my b/f hates it when i make him get my coffee fix! :p

I still don't understand why you have to pay more for decaf and soy when they cost the same now :(

Latte - no sugar. Until I realised dairy made me sick. Soy makes me itchy and I don't like the taste so I can't have that either. Now I just wish I could order something other than water or lemonade! Sheesh, how sad do I sound?

Opps better get back to work....

A nice big hot chocolate. Have been to my little prep's first school sports today - it was freezing, a few hot chocolates would have gone down well
yum

I'd have a huge mug of hot chocolate, not too sweet...havn't had a real coffee for ages as I'm pregnant and too much caffeine stops me sleeping at the moment but I can't wait for a perfect latte, two sugars...
I have worked in at least 5 Hobart cafes making coffee and reading some of your replies almost made me homesick for the smell...it was always a challenge making a soy anything-cos it's not actual milk it is very difficult to heat without curdling it. I really enjoyed giving people a really good hot drink though cos I know how I crave them sometimes...anyhow please thank your coffee person very nicely though cos they do try hard to make you happy!

I don't like coffee either. I'd MUCH rather have a mug of hot chocolate with marshmallows. If not, I'd probably go for a good chai latte.
... and perhaps a nice cheesecake or cupcake on the side if they have any. hmmm, I'm getting hungry now.
