The Handmade Expo is coming to Ipswich, Qld (only 40 minutes from Brisbane). We are currently taking expressions of interest from prospective stall holders who would like to sell their handmade items. The Expo / Market will be held in a well known, under cover location on August 16th.

Wow... what an amazing event and everything was handmade. We had a final number of stallholders of 87 selling their beautiful and creative handmade wares. We had 2000 people through the door to help support the handmade industry! Thank you everyone!

Our next expo will be held on Saturday 20 September at the Ipswich Showgrounds, 81 Warwick Rd, Ipswich from 8am to 2pm. $2 entry fee for adults, kids free.

So, the Ipswich Heritage Faire has been and gone...
We are now onto our next fab market on 27th June, back at the Ipswich Showgrounds, Exhibitors Pavilion, 81 Warwick Rd, Ipswich. 8am-2pm with a $2 entry for adults..kids are free.
So, come on down and browse and shop the 90+ stalls of handmade goods on offer. There is always something for everyone.

So how is the Expo going these days? I understand its not on in Jan 10 but will be starting up again in Feb this year. I'd be interested in feedback from those that have visited or had a stall there recently.

Ipswich is about 1hr 45mins from me. I'd certainly be interested in having a stall some time.

Leisa - is it all under cover? Roughly how many stall holders do you get these days?

Our next market is on Saturday 15th May at the Ipswich Turf Club, Brisbane Road, Bundamba. 8am-2pm with FREE ENTRY and FREE PARKING.

With up to 100 stalls of handmade goods on offer and now including our GOURMET FRESH section where you can purchase your local fresh produce, preserves, olives, cheese, bread, gilato, biscuits/slices, cupcakes fudge, etc + also the many stalls of handmade treasures including kids clothing/accessories, adults clothing/accessories, jewellery, handbags, country craft, greeting cards, ceramics, timber work and so much more.
We now also run in conjunction with the Swanbank Steam Trains, so you can jump on the steam train, have some lunch and do some shopping. A full and wonderful day out for everyone.

Hi Justine.
I thought I might just jump in first and let you know a little about the market. We are sitting at about 80 stallholders at the moment...during the xmas months, we have reached 135 stalls. We average about 1200 through the door, but have however had up to 2,500 during the busier months. We advertise in the newspaper, magazines, radio, letterbox drops, banners, signs, internet (huge). We run in conjunction with the Swanbank Steam Trains as well, so we not only offer a market, we offer a day out for the family.

We have 2 soap stallholders and 1 candle stallholder booked in for our June market. We have an application process in place...all you need to do is go onto out blog www.thehandmadeexpo.blogspot.com fill in the form which comes through to us....we then have a look at your application form and photos and go from there. The guildelines are on the website as well.
