Hi there, I'm new to the forum, but am a very keen internet surfer of all things crafty, as well as a being a crafter. My current interests are sewing, quilting and embroidery - 'nu' style, of course! I seem to collect more fabric than I know what to do with, and have contemplated starting a self-help group!
I am also interested in starting a crafty group - particularly any of the interests I have listed above, but also crocheting and knitting (your suggestions are also welcome) - with the emphasis on skill swapping, workshops etc - nothing fancy schmancy, but fun and the opportunity to learn some new skills (I would love to learn how to crochet!)and meet likeminded people.
If you are interested and have any ideas further to mine, I would love to hear from you. I live in Reservoir, and was hoping to find people between Northcote and Reservoir who might be interested. Look forward to hearing from you!!

I'm down south but would love to meet up for something crafty some time!

Hi Annalaura - that would be super!! Due to the underwhelming response of my first post, I have taken out the 'northern suburbs'! Meeting up somewhere central (ie closer to the city) might draw more of a response. Look forward to hearing from you all who are interested.:)
