silly newbie question - living in hope!

Is there a way that I can see how many hits I've got on my almost finished shop - that code, it's taking so long! Also, I noticed that many stores list their emails for questions; if someone wants to purchase, do I get an email at my own email address, or do I have to list it on the sales page?
