So many people make the statement "what do I need maths for, I'm not going to use it."
Well, I still use a lot of the maths I learnt in school when I am making stuff and doing things on my computer like using Irfan, or sizing things oddly, or to find an unknown in the process of enlarging etc. And even have to remember a bit of pi when making circlular stuff.
I still freguently get out my compass and protractor (sp?), use a ruler and do addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
I imagine lots of people involved in creative arts and crafts are using maths on a daily basis. SO this thread is an ode to maths, and telling every youngin' you meet, you will use maths!
