Hey guys,
I'm fairly new to made it. I sell on etsy mostly but also have an account on dawanda. I thought I'd give this a try too since it's Australia based
I recognise a few sellers here from etsy (annalaura, polyclarific, aussie patches, art4friends, etc). It's cool having our own little place to buy and sell and not have to worry about the stupid $US hehe...
I only have one thing listed at the moment, but I'll probably have a lot more stuff up really soon.
So, here is a little bio about me and my creations in case you haven't seen or heard about me before:
My name is Kerry. I live in Melbourne, Australia. I'm in university studying psychology. I work part time for an up-market clothing brand. I have a major obsession with fashion and often blow my whole pay on clothes and accessories.
To fuel my obsession, I make my own accessories. I have called the range "box of glory accessories". The name comes from the Portishead song 'glory box' that I absolutely love. One of my favourite singers, Chanel Cole, sang a beautiful rendition of this song on Australian idol. Speaking of Chanel, she is my inspiration for all of my exquisite hair pieces. There's nothing prettier on a girl than a flower in her hair.
I love making brooches, earrings, pendants and other accessories out of polymer clay. Fimo is always fun to work with!
I recently started making hama bead jewellery too. I love the robotic designs you can come up with using these tiny beads. The feel of hama bead jewelry is quite retro and 80s inspired. I always get comments on my hama bead designs if I wear them out. People like the quirkiness of them.
And that's about it I think...
You can view most of my other designs on my myspace page (no website as yet)

I look forward to getting to know you all as this site grows and prospers!
Happy New Year to all as well...
Kerry :D
