Hi all
I've been on madeit for a couple of months now, but have only just discovered the forum. I'm not particularly computer savvy, so am sometimes slow to get onto these things. As a stay at home mum of a 2 year old it can be hard for me to find the time to browse on-line, some days it's hard to find time for a cuppa and a sit down. I really admire all the arty mums out there who have more than one child and still find the time to create beautiful work :).
I'm a Canberra based artist and craftsperson, and have been doing both for as long as I can remember. I make jewellery, bras and other accessories, mostly with second-hand and vintage buttons. I have a stall once a month at the local Old Bus Depot Markets, but have been thrilled to find and list on madeit. I have sold a couple of things since first joining, and still get butterflies in my tummy when something sells.
It's exciting to be a part of such a wonderfully creative community of people. Am looking forward to getting to know people and having a great experience here. Please check out my store and let me know what you think.
Cheers
Tess
