I'm using my 'not so old' blog now. Initially I created with blogspot,but I realised I should go back to Wordpress where I created a year ago where I have my life's stories written as well.
But I'm using free Wordpress, so a lot of things I can't have it there such as Facebook interaction and also Google Friend Connect.
Anyway, I still prefer Wordpress as I can have several 'pages' or 'tabs', look as if different categories.

I have also included some of your blog link to my blog. You can find yours on the right hand side under 'Blogroll'. I'm still slowly adding more and more as I found all your blogs are just attractive and informative.

If you read my blog, you may see I also introduce other's items whenever I found it attracted me. If you don't mind, you can send me an email blackiki@fashionbox.com.au telling me which item you would like me to introduce in my blog. I know it sounds silly, but I just love to do that. Hi Ceri,

A blog follower is someone who follows through google friend connect. Took me a while to work this one out. When I went to follow blogs my photo wasn't showing up. I had to go into settings in manage blogs I'm following and place a profile and photo. This was strange to me as I already created a profile and photo in blogger when I set up my blog but I also had to create one with google friend connect.

I hope it helps ... does get confusing.

Ctrl + C to copy the code for the button, then open the 'add a gadget'. Choose the HTML gadget and Ctrl + v to copy the code into the box there. Then save it and save the layout and it should be on your blog :)

Thx kindly for your reply, it is most useful. I had to add pic & info etc to google friend connect also. But then I don't have a blog yet so by the sounds of it I may need to do it again when I set one up..... hmmm one thing at a time! ;)

As a blogger, and all you other bloggers out there, do you perfer people to follow you via google friend connect or subscribe to the RSS Feed of your blog? Anyways I now follow you via google friends connect and subcribe to your blogs RSS Feed - that will ensure all bases are covered.....:)

I follow people using google friend connect and then just read the blogs i follow in google reader - it tells you when you have new updates to read, so quite easy to keep track of where you are at and what you have already read.

Plus I can access this at work while i can't access the blog pages directly .. hohum. Speaking of which, i should get back to work! :rolleyes:

If your interested, I've come to the conclusion that if you have a blog people can subscribe to the feeds and you'd never know. However, if someone follows you via google friend connect, you and others will know from the Followers indicator on your blog.....

Sarah you are absolutely right... a 'Blogs You Follow' did appear in Google Reader which is brilliant, thanks for pointing that out! Google Reader is the best.... And you can use from work :D LOL

This was done by typing the text you want then using the 'Insert Link' button and pasting the link in the box that pops up.

I think i am now following most of your blogs, some of them look great and i now have a fair bit of reading to do, how do you customise them with fancy background and headings etc, i tried to customise mine but i'm assuming it's all done with html which by the way i'm not familiar with but i will keep trying, hope you will all visit my blog too.
